On 9th of December 2007 Lithuanian national dish "cepelinai" party has turned into a foundation meeting for New Zealand Lithuanian Society.
The application to incorporate New Zealand Lithuanian Society has been signed.

The author of application, Dr Ignas Kukenys completed his Ph.D. degree at the University of Otago. He currently lives and works in Auckland.
